Press Release -- Up To infotechnologies scrl(Pieve di Soligo, Treviso, Italy) Novembre 2002 - A 2-day course developed to teach practicing physicians
new approaches to reading the medical literature has been accredited by the Italian Ministry of Health towards
physicians' continuing medical education (CME) activities. The course, entitled "Articoli Medico-Scientifici.
Tecniche di Lettura: Browsing & Critical Appraisal", received 16 CME credits and may be followed
by medical doctors of all specialties.
The Italian Ministry of Health's program of continuing medical education became operative at the beginning of 2002 and
obliges physicians and other healthcare operators to accumulate credits each year from activities such as courses, congresses
and distance learning. More information about this program, including a database of accredited activities, is available within the Web
site of the Ministry of Health.
