Press Release -- Up To infotechnologies scrl(Pieve di Soligo, Treviso, Italy) April 2000 - A member of Up To info technologies s.c.r.l. (Up To i.t.) has been
awarded the Myra T. Grenier Award by the Association of Independent
Information Professionals (AIIP). The Myra T. Grenier award is given annually to an aspiring associate member of AIIP.
AIIP, founded in 1987, is an association of information-related business owners and currently has over 700 members in 20
countries.
The award recipient, Dr.ssa V. Matarese Ph.D., is President of the CdA of Up To i.t. The award consists of complementary
attendance at AIIP's annual conference and a travel stipend. The conference was held this year in April at the Georgetown
University Conference Center in Washington D.C., USA.
About Up To i.t.
Up To info technologies is a not-for-profit cooperative association based in northeastern Italy. Up To i.t. offers information research,
services and technical editing, and is actively involved in working to promote, analyze and improve the offer of information sources
in Italy. Up To i.t. has created the Monitor of the Italian Information Industry, which contains a database of information sources
(databases) having content about Italy.
